The Local Preschool is located in the heart of Mar Vista. We are currently open, touring and again accepting applications for the Fall 2022/23 school year!

SCHEDULE & HOURS OF OPERATION

- Enrollment at The Local Preschool in Mar Vista is for a 10 month school year.

- Hours of operation are from 9am - 3 pm,  Monday - Friday. 

- We are closed 2 weeks for Winter Break, 2 weeks for Spring Break, 3 days for Thanksgiving, as well as on all National Holidays, as well as Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. 
 

2020 - 2021 TUITION CALENDAR  

Tuition at The Local Preschool in Mar Vista is $1625 per month for 5 days a week. Our regular school year is 10 months, with an annual commitment.  We do also offer 3 days for $1225 and 4 days for $1425, when space is available. The monthly tuition includes all school closures and child absences.

Regular School hours are from 9am - 3pm. Early drop off, starting at 8:30, can be arranged with the teachers but there is limited space.

A deposit, matching the cost of your monthly tuition payment, is paid at the time your child is accepted and a start date is agreed upon. This deposit will hold your child’s space and also be applied to the last month’s tuition payment.

We also charge a one time materials fee of $200 per child at the start of each school year, due the first month your child starts.

We offer several payment options for our families: 

1) One full payment of annual fees at the beginning of the school year

2) Four quarterly installments/payments 

3) Ten monthly installments/payments
 

*Please note: Tuition is applied to all absences, school holidays, winter break and spring break. 
 

TUITION INCLUDES:

a) 2 healthy snacks a day (morning and afternoon)

b) Materials and school equipment

c) CPR, first aid training, and professional development for staff

d) First aid,  emergency supplies, and site maintenance
